Interesting. So far the problem has not repeated. If
it does I will check the switch.

When I drove in that morning it was really sloppy out,
I am wondering if a piece of ice formed somewhere that
knocked out the alternator for a while.

I have had two nights when it got really cold and I left
the car out for a morning test. Both times the problem
did not occur.

Thanks.
