Do you mean "How visible is the V1 to a VG2 unit?" or "Does the
V1 tell you if there is a VG2 around?" Your phrasing seems to
indicate the latter meaning -- in which case, I am pretty sure,
the answer is no. But, there is no firm data on this.

Now it looks like you mean the first construct -- in which case, the
answer is known. The V1 is pretty much invisible to the VG2 according
to the Car & Driver tests.

Yes, I have one and use it. Does help when the cop is behind you! But,
it does keep away the tailgating wimps who want you to lead them around
town in safety.

Stick around and you will hear the stories.
