1978 Fiat X1/9 for sale

I bought this car new in 1978 and it has been garaged since 1980
The car is disassembled at present but all components are here.
Everything has been packed and is in excellent condition. The chassis
has no rust, all body panels are excellent inclduing all factory glass.
It had 27K miles before disassembly.

Engine:

Professionally built by Joe Serra (NY)

Borgo pistons (86mm bore) @ 10:1
Serra 150 camshaft (12.5mm lift)
Crank & Rods balanced (10,000 RPM)
block is decked and ringed
Heavy-duty clutch
40mm intake, 35mm exhaust nimonic steel valves with offset guides
ported and polished
2-piece steel adjustable camshaft pully
dual weber 42mm DCNF carbs with linkage, air filters and dual pumps
Magnetti Marelli distributor/electronic ignition
Header exhaust and muffler
 - a solid 120bhp motor -

 Engine never started... mint condition

Transmission:

Alquati 5-speed conversion kit
Alquati 4 spider limited-slip heavy-duty differential
 - some assembly required
All original internals also available in perfect condition

Chassis:

Cromodora Abarth Scorpion wheels
Abarth Scorpion leather-wrap steering wheel
Add-Co sway bar kit front/rear
Koni Shock strut inserts
New wheel bearings (including special tool)
New Rotors
lots of other goodies as well....

I had big plans for the above, but silly things like marriage, kids,
home ownership, job, etc. has kept me from completing it. So, I'm
looking
to sell everything as a complete package to someone with more free time
than me. There is well over $15K invested.... I still have most of the
original receipts and complete shop manual.

I'm asking $6000 for everything. The car is located (garaged) in
Palm Beach County, Florida. If interested, e-mail maier@ibm.net

  Regards, KM.
