Two possiblities.

One: The windshield seal needs to be fixed. This is not ado it yourself
job. The winshield uses a mastic seal not a rubber gasket like in "the
good old days". If this seal is not complete the water will run down
between the firewall and the dashboard and drip on your feet.

Two: This is a far less likely cause. The vent that is between the hood
and the windshield allows for fresh air when driving. There are several
weep holes in the body designed to allow water entering here to drain.
It is possible that those weep holes are clogged by dirt, leaves or were
clogged by the application of an underbody sealant.

Good luck and pack some dry socks.

Tim
