I can't comment their "expensive" work but I wouldn't trust the basic
ones. I had my rusty car that I used to have repaired the rust and
painted at Maaco really cheap (CDN$1000). The paint peeled off in about
4 months.

Guess what. The car was originally red and I had it painted in green. At
the price they offered, they wouldn't strip off the old paint but
instead, spray some clear chemical that will stick the new paint. And
then spray the new paint right on top. Imagine what it looks like when
the new paint peels.
