no, but somebody's dropped a ford 302 V-8 into the miata, somewhat
reminiscent of the shelby cobra.  the car's obviously not as nimble
as before, but it's supposed to have a near 50/50 weight distribution
and handle very well.  i'd sure love to drive one.
