Happy Earth Day!  Today you should save a tree by bringing your own drinking 
utility to Monday Morning Coffee.  It's not a requisite, but a tree will 
thank you.  Then you should get wildly carried away and hug a tree or plant 
a tree or feed a tree.  And Friday is Arbor day; mark your calendars!

Remember how last week I offered up llamas as a giveaway for this week?  
Well, we ran out of llamas, and instead we will be giving away engineers.  
One free engineer with each coffee!  (Supplies are limited, so come early)  
We know engineers aren't quite up to the llama standard you were expecting, 
but if you each take an engineer and leave him at your home, maybe they'll 
stop construction on the engineering building and fix our airconditioner 
already (not that we need it today. what month is it?).  And maybe the 
engineer will clean your home and cook for you if he gets bored.  Or maybe 
you'll just wish you had a llama.

In the spirit of Earth Day, I'll save bandwidth by leaving you now with just 
the *suggestion* that you read Joyce Kilmer's "Trees", a poem that I would 
have loved to have had the chance to burn in manuscript.
