So as it turns out.  I am the Monday morning coffee message meister.  It's
one of those things that slips your mind after *3 MONTHS* of inactivity.
Luckily, the MMC team has been released from cryogenic stasis and is prepared
to fill in the gap where one free faculty related food once stood.

This is actually bad news for you.  Not so much bad that Monday morning
coffee is on, because we're the only show in town--the atrium would be
filled with the wails of the living and the bodies of the dead if *someone*
didn't step up with some post-weekend nourishment.  No, it's only bad news
in relation to the life of Riley that we've all enjoyed courtesy of 11.15
talks.  The bad news is that now you have to be around at 10am to get your
food.  Now now, put down your torches and pitchforks.  Remember, you used
to get your food at 10am every Monday morning.  And secondly, you have to
bring some dough (money, not pre-doughnut) to actually *buy* the food.

On the upside, we've lowered our prices from 1.50 for a cup of coffee
and 3.00 for a bagel or donut (don't be surprised if you don't remember
the prices being that high, it *was* a long time ago), to a mere .25
cents for coffee and .50 cents for donuts and bagels (I think that's what
the sales memo said--if I'm wrong . . . well just bring an extra quarter).  

In short, feel free to lament the bygone days of late morning free food,
but take comfort in the return of "grassroots" breakfast activity brought
to you by your long dormant Monday Morning Coffee team.

So enjoy your weekend and we'll see you there.
