Equinoxial Greetings. Indeed we start the Autumn season today, with its
yearly promise of bright foliage and cool crisp air so inviting for hikes in
the forest. Which have "too many trails," said the Meister's explorer cousin
who recently visited from tropical Brazil, and "not enough underbrush." It
seems that the abundance of choice that characterizes the consumer markets in
the US has spread to nature, and the cousin, overwhelmed by variety, tried
permutations of trails in the Holyoke Range for six hours until he made it
back to The Notch(*). After which he was a happy, albeit hungry, camper.

Unlike him, you needn't go hungry in the critical first hours of the week and
the season. Donuts, Bagels and cream cheese, and the renowned, just-in-time
brewed coffee to wash them down await you at the lounge at 10. So come on down!
How to get there: make your way to the GRC. Go to the main office. Ask Donna
or Laura where the MMC takes place, and they will direct you from there.
