Research and consulting projects

I work on broad and interdisciplinary projects, covering the perceptual and cognitive foundations of visualization, very high-dimensional data visualization, visual analytics, and applications of visualization, mostly focused on the modeling, analysis, visualization and presentation of complex information with the goal to optimize human understanding, learning, memory, impact, interpretation, and decision-making. My most current work is cognitively goal directed presentations, interactive visualizations, analysis, and machine learning systems.
