Help with CMPSCI 121
- Last semester CMPSCI 121 students benefitted greatly from the Learning
Resources Center on the 10th floor of the main library. Support hours
will be listed at http://www.umass.edu/lrc/
- Form a study group of other students in CMPSCI 121. Get to know other
students in the lecture and your discussion section. Be sure, however,
to carefully follow the rules of collaboration and no-collaboration and academic honesty.
- The CMPSCI 121 bulletin board
at http://bb-edlab.cs.umass.edu/cs121_S12/index.php. Ask questions and get answers
online. The instructor and TAs will monitor the board and answer
questions. Of course, you can also see what questions others have
asked, and their answers. Students are also encouraged to answer each
other's questions (within the bounds of the collaboration policy
mentioned above.) To post to the bulletin board you will need to create
a login for yourself, as indicated on its home page. In order to see
the bulletin board from outside the UMass computer network, you will
also have to enter a password before you can even see the bulletin
board login screen. For this, use username cs121, password EL121p.
- TA office hours are listed on the weekly schedule.
