Bio

I am currently a fourth-year Ph.D. student at College of Information and Computer Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst under the supervision of Prof. Jie Xiong. I also work with Prof. Deepak Ganesan.

Research Interests

I’m currently pursuing new promising and innovative work with LoRa sensing. The newest work proposes a new concept "virtual fence" which confines sensing in the area of interest to combat severe interference in LoRa sensing. We also propose to maximize signal variation through delicate signal processing and significantly increase the sensing range of human walking from 50 m to 120 m.
