There are seven questions for 60 total points.
All are from
the textbook,
Mathematical Foundation for Computer Science. Note that the book has
both Exercises and Problems -- make sure you are doing a Problem and not the
Exercise with the same number. The number in parentheses following each problem
is its individual point value.

- Problem 4.4.5 (5) (If you are using the green text, have a
look at the blue one because I have rephrased this problem slightly.)
- Problem 4.6.1 (a) (5)
- Problem 4.6.3 (10) There is an error in this problem.
Please add the condition that C(a,b,m) is false whenever b ≥
m.
And please note that you only have to prove
the desired statement in the case where b < m.
