# Homework Assignment #4

#### Posted Wednesday 22 April 2009

#### Due on paper in class, Wednesday 6 May 2009

There are sixteen questions for 100 total points plus 10 extra
credit. All are from
the textbook, *
Mathematical Foundation for Computer Science*. Note that the book has
both Exercises and Problems, but for the second (green) volume the Exercise
solutions are not in the back of the book -- make sure you know whether you
are doing a Problem or an Exercise because the numbers are used twice.
The number in parentheses following each problem
is its individual point value.

Students are responsible for understanding and following
the academic honesty
policies indicated on this page.
