I am an assistant professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I am part of the PLASMA Research Group (Programming Languages and Systems). Before joining UMass, I was a postdoc with Nate Foster at Cornell University, where I worked on software-defined networking. Before that, I was a graduate student at Brown University with Shriram Krishnamurthi, working on language-based Web security. Further back, I was an undergraduate at Grinnell College, where intro CS hooked me onto programming languages.
