I am a graduate student in the department of Computer Science at UMASS, Amherst. My advisor is Prof. Prashant Shenoy. My research interests include distributed systems, green computing, green data centers, and smart homes.

 

Before starting this new era of academic career, I spent 3 yrs in software industry. I got my undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

 

Current Work

 

Currently I am working on the design of datacenters running off renewables or varible power supply in general. I am also involved in designing energy efficient smart homes using green computing techniques.
