Marco L. Carmosino

I am a Bay State Fellow at UMASS Amherst, currently working with Neil Immerman on my MSc. I graduated from Hampshire College in Spring 2011, after completing my undergraduate thesis with David Mix Barrington.

I work on the computational complexity of linear algebra, from a descriptive perspective. I am also interested in a fine analysis of the role that encoding plays in computation, and the continued search for logics that capture complexity classes on unordered structures.
