I am Anand Seetharam, a fourth
year graduate student in the Computer Science Department at the University
of Massachusetts Amherst. I am a member of the Computer Networks Research Group.
My advisor is Prof. Jim Kurose.
begin_of_the_skype_highlightingend_of_the_skype_highlighting I
am broadly interested in the field of computer networking. My research
encompasses various aspects of wireless networks including mobile ad-hoc
networks, sensor networks and 3G/4G networks. My research methodology combines
modeling, optimization, analysis and trace-based performance evaluation of
networks. Before joining UMASS, I obtained my
undergraduate degree in Electronics and Telecomm. Engineering from Jadavpur
University, Kolkata, India in 2009. There, I worked with Prof. Mrinal Naskar in
various areas related to wireless sensor networks and mobile ad-hoc networks.
A complete list of my publications is given below. A detailed description of my different projects can be found here.
